DESIGNFREO ON LOCATION 12: PHILIP STEJSKAL / HALE STREET

What does a ‘forever home’ look like?

We’re heading back to Beaconsfield for our first event of 2024, a tour of one of architect Philip Stejskal’s most sustainable homes. Built as a downsizer for a couple who plan to age in place, the split-level house is interconnected by ramps and accessible for life.

Sited behind the original family home, it was built using Hempcrete and other low-maintenance, practical materials and tempered by the surrounding landscape and ocean views.

Join us in conversation with the homeowners, architect, and landscape designer.
