Find out at DesignFreo On Location 09 when we visit Corner House by spaceagency, one of WA’s most awarded architecture practices.

Corner House is a lesson in clever design. Maximising the potential of an elevated site on Fremantle’s limestone ridge, spaceagency has created a delightful home that holds many surprises within its deceptively compact footprint.

The owners, a couple with three adult children, sought to accommodate the ebb and flow of returning offspring and frequent house guests. The result is a range of shared and private spaces organised around a sheltered, north-facing courtyard that provides a constant connection with nature.

A functional plan, unified by beautiful materials and detailing, earned Corner House a Commendation in the 2023 WA Architecture Awards. Join us to tour the house and hear the architect, and the client, who is also the builder, in conversation.
