‘This one is really special.’ Dimmity Walker / spaceagency

How do you take three apartments within the heritage-listed walls of a former factory and turn them into one, beautifully designed family home?

The Weeties building in North Fremantle is a local landmark – a brick and iron industrial building dating from the 1930s and converted to residential dwellings in the 1990s.

Highly awarded Fremantle architecture practice spaceagency was briefed to merge three of the exisiting apartments into a home for a family of five, complete with pool and landscaped gardens.

DesignFreo is privileged to invite you inside the just-completed project to hear the architects and the builder talk us through the challenging transformation.
